You don't know what to do sometimes when it's a single or double bond. Also if it loses or adds electrons it's tricky. Sometimes You dont know when to fill the middle element.
The hardest part is dealing with the negative and positive charges. Also when you have more then two different elements it makes it confusing. The negative and postive charges are hard to understand because of adding and subtracting electrons.
the hardest part of doing a lewis dot structure is knowing rather or not its a single or double bond. and also its hard to know if and when it looses or adds an electron. And also you don't know when to fill the middle element.
Its hard to tell whether its a single or double bond. I think its also hard to know how many dots go where. I dont get when there is negative and positive charges. I also dont like when there are Hs and Os. The whole things is hard i dont get it at all really.
I never know where the bonds go and what the negative and positive stuff is for. It is weird and there are so many different ways to do it, like there are a lot of different rules.
The hardest part for me is to know if it's telling if it's a single or double bond. Sometimes you fill the middle element and sometimes you don't. It's also hard to tell what kinda of molecular model an element formula is.
