Why do you need to find a mole of a compound?

You need to know the mass in grams that corresponds to the necessary number of moles. Then the mass can be measured on a blance. For example you ned to know that you have 32.07 g S.

This way you can see how many atoms and other representative elements are in the compound. You also wouldn't have to find the mass of each item in a compound separately. You can just find the mass of the whole compound at once.

You need to know the mass in grams. This helps you know which moles amounts go with which. Its a good was to measure moles.
