in chemistry the empirical formula of a chemical compound is a simple expression of the relative numbers of each type of atom thats in it. these formulas make no reference to isomerism, structure, or absolute number of atoms. is used as standard for most ionic compouns.

This is the formula with the smallest wholenumber mole ratio of the elements. It is sometimes the same as the molecular formula. The smallest whole nuber ratio of the moles of the elements is the subscripts in the empirical formula.

It is a formula that is used to express the simple expression of the relative numbers in each type of an atom that contains it. These formulas are not similiar to isomerism, stucutre, or absolute number of atoms. The formulas is used as the standard of most ionic compounds. Man that is so swwweeeeettttttttt!!!!
